Dogs, cats, birds and fish have been among those little creatures that shared our home, made us laugh, and caused us anguish when they were sick, or in some cases, died.

As pet lovers, we know how much fun, and work, is involved in owning and caring for part of the family.

One challenge we've faced is one that we hope to help you with and that is choosing a good pet name.

For example, our most recent addition to the family was Shema the dog. How did we name her? Well, she is a female who loves her mom, and, thus, Shema meaning she loves ma. Shema is a spoiled girl with a huge yard to run and frolic, and loves her daily round of play chasing her ball, or chasing the squirrels.
